The Pittsburgh Penguins will face the Anaheim Ducks in Pittsburgh on Saturday night and they have to be ready for a big one.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will be kicking off this holiday weekend with a visit from the Anaheim Ducks. The Pens will be trying to keep their game rolling coming hot off of a win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. Similarly, the Ducks will be looking to extend their winning streak to two games after defeating the New York Islanders on Thursday.

In another segment of do’s and don’ts, let’s take a look at things the Penguins should do and stay away from when versing the Ducks.

Do: Take Advantage of the Ducks Recent Struggles

I know, we recently haven’t been the best team, winning just two of our last six games. But the Ducks are in the same boat as us. They have won just two games out of their last five and this time, we need to make sure to take care of this properly.

The Ducks will be looking to take advantage of our struggles just like how we will with them, however if we can make sure we get ahead, we’ll be sure to lock in on their misfortunes.

Don’t: Try to Take on Their Defence Easily

Anaheim will always have one of the best defensive cores in the league. Let’s not forget this. We need to really step up our game offensively and get the puck to our stars. Hopefully we can crack the likes of Fowler and Lindholm.

Don’t: Overplay Oleksiak

Jamie Oleksiak is the new kid in town and he needs to earn his way into this lineup. If he continues to play well, then i’d entrust him with more minutes.
