The home stretch is finally here for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The final 10 games.

As the Pittsburgh Penguins reach the final 10 games of the season, there is still a lot that can happen. But what can possibly happen in just 10 games? We need to keep up our strong play and check off some things off our list of goals. Here’s some things we can still shoot for in the final month of the season.

1) Clinch the Division

This is a task easier said than done, but it is definitely very doable. We’re only two points behind the Washington Capitals currently and we still have 10 games to go. Washington has been heating up but I can see them slipping too. We just need to keep our strong play up now.

2) Evgeni Malkin Has to Win the Goal Scoring Title

He’s currently third in the scoring race, right behind Alex Ovechkin and Patrik Laine. He has been exceptionally hot as of late, and if Evgeni Malkin keeps his play up, I can see him passing both snipers in the goal-scoring race.

Ovechkin and Laine are both only three goals ahead of Malkin. It is very doable to go off on a tear, like Malkin has been doing, and take this trophy.

3) Finish with 45 wins

Sitting at 41 wins, we only need four more wins to reach 45. I think this is a safe standard we can all assume the Penguins will be able to manage. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if we surpass this goal. I’m homing for 50 wins, but let’s shoot for 45 first.
