The Pittsburgh Penguins will be heading back home for game 3 of their second round matchup against the Washington Capitals.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will face the Washington Capitals in game 3 of their second round series Tuesday night after suffering a devastating game 2 loss by a score of 4-1 on Sunday.

The Penguins will need to rally up their offence after looking rather weak in game 1. Kris Letang was the Penguins only goal scorer in the second period, and he didn’t get much help from the forwards afterwards.

Goal scoring had been a problem for the Penguins in game 1 as they went scoreless in the first two periods. If it hadn’t been for a sudden resurgence in the third period, we would be down 2-0 in the series. We need our stars to come in clutch and figure out a way to crack Holtby.
