We all know that the Pittsburgh Penguins have somewhat struggled, so far this season.  If you watched their last game vs the Panthers, you know what I mean.

I had a few tears in my eyes, watching that game.

Wait, what, Are you Crying?  (No…I just have something in my eye is all)  Are you Crying?   ‘Cause there’s No Cryin’ in Hockey….

Kris Letang

#58 made his way back into the Penguins lineup.  As we all know to well, he has had a trying season, and my heart aches for him and his family.  I was so happy to see him, not only make it back onto the ice, but perform like he can, skating with ease, making plays and scoring goals.  His joy, made me cry.

Tristan Jarry

#35 is back on the injured list.  My heart sank with this pre-game news, cause I know the Penguins will only go as far as Jarry can take us.  His pain, made me cry.

Penguin Turnovers

Witnessing the amount of Unforced Penguin Turnovers, by the entire team, made me cry.

(This ongoing, frustrating, inability to protect the puck, is making me cry.)

Casey DeSmith

#1 struggled between the pipes, for most of the Florida game.  Yet he fought through it, for a Penguin W.  His perseverance, made me cry.

Bottom 6 Forwards

#43 and #10, on the fourth line, both scored goals.  Seeing Heinen and O’Connor, who have been criticized by the media as poor Bottom 6 Forwards, actually score goals in this game and noticing the pure relief in their faces, made me cry.

Late Game Breakdowns

Watching the opposition tie the game up late, again, made my heart just sink.  This constant inability, by the Penguins, to be able to hold onto a one goal lead, is disappointing anmade me cry.

My View from the Cheap Seats

Section: TV   Row: PVR   Seat: Couch

So, truth be told, it was an very emotional game against Florida.  There was Pre-Game disappointment, Opening Faceoff excitement, Mid Game confusion, Third Period frustration and Overtime Joy.

I was shocked, (was I), I cried, I laughed, I yelled at the TV, I smiled.  I did it all.

I guess when you pay the Big Bucks to sit in my seats, you can say that overall, it was a very entertaining night.
