The Pittsburgh Penguins let Kris Letang, and his son Alex announce their first-round picks. But after the first pick the Penguins made, Alex announced them himself and seemed like a natural.

It was announced earlier that the Penguins would let defenseman Kris Letang, and his son Alex announce their first-round picks tonight at the NHL Draft. It has moreso been Alex doing the reading of the selections than his dad Kris.

Alex just seems like he is super comfortable up there and like he has no stage fright and just knows what to do and is super calm about it. He has a good demeanor and is stealing the show everytime he walks up on stage.

Alex has read off three selections for the Penguins in the first-round since general manager Kyle Dubas made a few trades to acquire extra picks in the back-half of the first-round.

Hopefully the Penguins get lucky in 2030 and draft Alex Letang to help his father's legacy

It is no secret that every Penguins fan on earth wants the chance to draft Alex Letang when he becomes draft-eligible in 2030. Every Penguins fan wants him to follow in his dad's footsteps and be a star player just like his dad has been.

Nobody knows what the likelihood of this happening is, but it seems like it could be a good choice if the Penguins were to have the opportunity to draft him.

Fans also do not know how good Alex Letang currently is in whichever league he plays in, but most can assume he is pretty good since his dad is.

Alex Letang should announce the draft picks for all teams in the future

As previously mentioned, Alex has looked like quite the star when announcing the Penguins draft picks. But he should announce the rest of the 2025 draft picks and announce them in future drafts.

He brings entertainment and swag and style and poise whenever he walks on stage and he seems to be a natural at public speaking.

There should be a petition for him to announce the draft picks in tomorrow's second-seventh rounds to finish off the 2025 Draft.
