It was the Crosby Show Again in Win over Canadiens

Sidney Crosby again shined as the Penguins defeated the Canadiens on November 2, 3-1 at PPG Paints Arena.

Correct me if you've heard this one before, but Crosby again looked like himself against the Canadiens. Per usual, he looked engaged, looked like he wanted to backcheck, and like he really wanted to get on the scoresheet.

Crosby is the sole reason the Penguins have now won 2 games in a row. He has put the team on his back like he is used to doing over the years and the team is being rewarded for it.

Crosby is on Another Universe

Crosby had quite the stat-line against the Canadiens on Saturday Night. He finished the game with 2 goals, a +1, 3 SOG, 20:02 TOI, and a PPG.

Which the PPG was actually insane where Crosby shot it from and that the Canadiens thought that Kris Letang was gonna shoot the puck but faked them out and found Crosby for the snipe.

Crosby is an actual wizard with how he plays the game, how he is able to find teammates all the time, and how he just shoots and the puck finds the goal. As stated, the Canadiens thought Letang was gonna shoot and so they overcommitted and Crosby found a little space and found twine.

Not to mention that they also got good goaltending from Alex Nedeljkovic, him and Crosby were the stars of the show in this one.

Crosby's Stats Through the Season So Far

Crosby through the first 13 games of the year, has 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points which is at the top of the team.

The last two games though, he has tallied 4 goals and is a +3 overall. He has had back-to-back multiple goal games which is not a surprise in the slightest for a player of his caliber.

Crosby Looks to Keep Streak Going As Islanders Come to Town

Crosby has always had insane success against the Islanders. Crosby has 41 goals and 93 assists in 86 career games played against the Islanders according to StatMuse.

Crosby will get another chance to add to those stats on Tuesday November 5 when the Penguins travel to Long Island.
