The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Kyle Dubas sent veteran goaltender Tristan Jarry to the Edmonton Oilers on Friday in exchange for goaltender Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak, and a 2029 second-round pick. But the newly acquired players will not play in Saturday's game for the Penguins.
Skinner and Kulak both have to come over from Canada and are having immigration/visa issues and need to figure that out first before making their Penguins debut. It does not seem likely that they will play in Sunday's game against the Utah Mammoth either.
The Penguins have recalled goaltender Sergei Murashov from the @WBSPenguins (AHL) on an emergency basis.

The Penguins will need to wait a little longer till the two can make their Pittsburgh debut. Once they are able to get to Pittsburgh and get acclimated and be able to play, it should be a positive thing. But for now, the Penguins needed Murashov to be the backup goaltender till Skinner can get to town.
It seems likely that Murashov will be the goaltender against the Utah Mammoth and then going into next week, Skinner and Kulak should be available to play. But for now, the Penguins have a plan set in place until they can get their two new acquisitions to Pittsburgh and ready to play.
Silovs and Murashov should be able to hold the fort down till Skinner shows up
Head coach Dan Muse said that goaltender Arturs Silovs is going to get the start against the Sharks on Saturday with Jarry now moved on. And with Murashov being the backup goaltender for Saturday, Muse should be naming him the starter against the Mammoth early Sunday morning.
Murashov has looked good early in the few starts that he has gotten for the Penguins, but it seems like right now he does not have a full-time roster spot. Murashov likely will be able to get that roster spot next year depending on how the rest of this year goes.
But for the time being, the Penguins are a better team after trading Jarry and have plans in place until the acquisitions get here. Penguins fans need to trust their coaching staff and management because they definitely know what they are doing.
