The bear was poked and Evgeni Malkin and his Pittsburgh Penguins took care of business in a massive way as they secure another two points against Colorado as they finish the central division portion of the lengthy road trip with a 7-2 win.
With Sidney Crosby still progressing in his attempt to return to the lineup, the team got some welcomed help in the returns of Justin Brazeau (injury) and Evgeni Malkin (five game suspension) but were down Blake Lizotte (Undisclosed injury).
Malkin took flight in his first game back from suspension and was on hat-trick watch after the first period, he scored two massive first period goals as the team stormed out to a 4-1 lead after 20 minutes and they took off from there.
It was a complete 200 foot game and the Penguins gave Colorado nothing all game and that included there special teams which has some weapons in Marty Necas, Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar.
