When the New York Islanders beat the Penguins out for the first-overall pick at the NHL Draft Lottery not long ago, it was quite obvious that Matthew Schaefer would be the unanimous number one pick.
That became reality not long ago when the Islanders selected Schaefer to kick-start the NHL Draft and he is going to be a problem for the Metropolitan Division and especially the Penguins.

Schaefer will be a force to reckon with for years and the Penguins should be scared
Everyone knows how good Matthew Schaefer is and how good he will be as the years go on and he enters the NHL. But the Penguins should definitely be scared because they are dealing with a headache in Adam Fox on the Rangers and now have to deal with Schaefer on the Islanders.
Schaefer adds another offensive force on the backend and seems to be the replacement for Noah Dobson and every team in the Metropolitan Division should be scared.
If Kyle Dubas is smart, trading Jarry before Schaefer arrives should be priority number one
Penguins fans and NHL fans around the league know how bad Tristan Jarry has been for the last few seasons. Kyle Dubas should do everything that he possibly can to trade Jarry before Schaefer joins the Islanders officially.
He is going to be a headache especially since Jarry loses position in the net a lot and does not know where the puck is and has rebound control issues a lot. Schaefer likes to shoot the puck so this is a massive problem for Jarry.
It is going to be tough to trade Jarry with his contract that he has, but it is not impossible. Dubas needs to act soon before the new Islander problem makes his first appearance.
