The Pittsburgh Penguins are a completely different team when they have their fourth line of Connor Dewar, Blake Lizotte, and Noel Acciari in tact. They have got to be one of the best fourth lines in the whole entire league.
Every time they are out on the ice, they are forechecking hard, getting after loose pucks, winning puck battles, taking a hit to make a play. They do it all and it is outstanding to watch on a nightly basis. When they do not have all of them healthy, the line just looks insanely dysfunctional.
Penguins historian Bob Grove put out a stat line before the Penguins recent win and after the win Penguins reporter Seth Rorabaugh updated it to show what their record is when they have all three players healthy and on a line together. To some fans, it might come as surprising and to some it might not.

The Penguins fourth line is just a line this season that has done a lot to help drive the energy of the team. They know what their exact role is and how to play it and they pay attention to details and all three of them are amazing penalty killers.
Head coach Dan Muse has to be happy with all three of his fourth liners and how they play on a nightly basis and that they know exactly where to be. Blake Lizotte put home a puck behind goaltender Cam Talbot of the Detroit Red Wings last night to give the Penguins the lead, although it took overtime to win, the goal was huge.
Lizotte banked the puck off of a Red Wings defender and behind Talbot and hit an insane celebration after the goal was scored. These three just feed off of each other and look like they belong together on the fourth line and Muse should not ever break them up.
The Penguins have not had competent fourth lines in years past, but they have a really consistent one now. The trio needs to always be together and stay healthy because all three of them are difference makers and show the Penguins why they need to be in the lineup. They are that good.
