The Penguins entered Tuesday's game against the Kings with a 6-2-1 record in their last nine games. They were facing a very good opponent that generally does not give up a lot of space and a lot of goals against. But Tuesday's game was different as the Penguins came out with a 3-2 overtime victory thanks to Rickard Rakell.

Malkin and Bunting are the perfect complement to each other

Evgeni Malkin and Michael Bunting work so well together and complement each other so well when they are on the ice. They constantly know where each other is and how to get the puck to each other and get tons of points on the same line.

The same can be said in Tuesday's victory over the Kings. Bunting and Malkin found themselves on a 2-on-1 and Bunting took the shot and it trickled around in goalie Darcy Kuemper's pads and Malkin found it and poked it in the net before the net came off its mourings.

Ever since Bunting came over in last season's Jake Guentzel trade, him and Malkin have worked together so well and will continue to be on the same line playing together for the rest of this season and likely next season.

What a time for Matt Grzelcyk's first Penguins goal

It has been quite the struggle for Grzelcyk to try to find the back of the net and he really timed it perfectly and found the back of the net for his first Penguins goal at a crucial time.

He took a slick pass from Crosby and found himself all alone on the left side moving down the slot and absolutely ripepd it past Kuemper to tie the game at 2. Grzelcyk's goal forced overtime and guaranteed the Penguins at least a point in this one.

The Penguins hope to keep the winning streak and gathering points up as they head to Music City to take on the Nashville Predators on Thursday Night.
