The Pittsburgh Penguins selected forward Will Horcoff with pick 24 of this past year's NHL Draft and as of right now it seems like an absolute steal. He has been lighting it up at the University of Michigan by scoring 19 goals and tallying 9 assists so far this season.
And he was also selected to Team USA in the World Junior Championships and in their recent win over Germany, he scored a goal. All the kid does is score goals and it just looks effortless. He looks like a prospect that is going to develop really well as the years go on and be an absolute steal of a draft pick.

Horcoff just looks like he is having a lot of fun out there on the ice and just putting the puck in the back of the net at an insane rate. There were questions about Horcoff in terms of that he was taken insanely early in the draft and he could have been had in later rounds.
But the fact that he is just scoring so much at the college level and now even scored in the World Juniors and there is potential for more points in this tournament, says a lot about the kid. He is just always shooting the puck as much as he can.
He seems to just always be able to find the puck and get to the dirty areas and put the puck in the back of the net. Most Penguins fans should know that all of this scoring is not going to hold up and happen every single game.
But the fact that he is so young as it is and that general manager Kyle Dubas was criticized for taking Horcoff in the first round, should be talked about. Dubas is getting the last laugh at the current moment and he should be, he did well with this pick so far.
