The camp will be run by new Wilkes-Barre/Scranton head coach Mike Sullivan. Those helping out Mr. Sullivan with the camp are Clark Donatelli, head coach of the Wheeling Nailers and Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender development coach Mike Buckley.

There will be 37 skaters present for the camp (23 forwards, 10 defensemen and 4 goaltenders). All four 2015 draft picks are expected to be present. Also, a few players that are very important to the Pittsburgh Penguins very near future success will be attending.

Three players are attending who had NHL minutes last season. Those players are Derrick Pouliot, Bryan Rust and Scott Wilson. Pouliot will almost definitely be in the lineup next year for the Penguins, while Rust and Wilson will be looking to secure a spot on the Pens fourth line.

Also in attendance will be the AHL’s rookie of the year, goaltender, Matt Murray, WBS leading scorer Connor Sheary, and the very skilled Oskar Sundqvist. Murray, Sheary and Sundqvist have a lot to prove to the coaching staff to prove that they are ready to play with the Pens.
