After a game four defeat and an opportunity to sweep the series gone, the Pittsburgh Penguins will be looking to finally eliminate the Columbus Blue Jackets in game five of their round one series.

The Pittsburgh Penguins gave up a quick three goals in Tuesday night’s game four matchup. Despite a strong attempt at a comeback, the Penguins, who were up 3-0 in the series at the time, gave up the game with a score of 5-4.

The Columbus Blue Jackets lived to see another day, but it will be up to the Penguins to finally close this series out.

The Penguins will need more big games from their role players here in addition to their stars. Players like Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust have really stepped up this post-season.

The Blue Jackets will definitely be trying to bring their A-game tonight. Facing elimination for the second time, they will do everything in their power to force a game six back in Columbus. If the Penguins finish things up tonight, they will be looking to face either the Washington Capitals or the Toronto Maple Leafs in round two. The series between Washington and Toronto is currently tied 2-2.

Not to mention, today is Nick Bonino’s birthday too. So let’s get a series win for him!
