The Pittsburgh Penguins suffered a horrible game three loss to the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday, losing by a score of 5-1.

The Pittsburgh Penguins went into game three looking to take a series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. Unfortunately, the offence just wasn’t clicking, and as a result the Penguins suffered a bad beating.

The Penguins allowed the Senators to score four goals in the first period. They have yet to score more than two goals in the first period.

The Penguins defence was slacking in the beginning, and many people now think Matt Murray, who came in cold for Marc-Andre Fleury, should get the start in game four. This is exactly what Coach Sullivan also seemed to be thinking, as we will be seeing Murray start his first game in these playoffs.

Nevertheless, the Penguins will be looking to bounce back in game four Friday night. The Penguins need to get their offence rolling here. Scoring a handful of goals right off the bat, just like what Ottawa did, could be perfect for the Penguins.
