The Pittsburgh Penguins will be looking to take a good hold on the Western Conference champions tonight.

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Predators have been the hottest team in these playoffs, surprising everyone by being the eighth seed and triumphing to victory.

The Predators miraculous run began when they swept the Chicago Blackhawks who were looking like Cup favourites. They then went on to defeat both the St. Louis Blues and the Anaheim Ducks in six games each. Talk about a surprise.

The Pittsburgh Penguins may have had a tougher time with their first three rounds, but they have still looked as dominant as ever. The Penguins will be looking to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, a feat that hasn’t been done since the Detroit Red WIngs repeated in 1997 and 1998.

This Stanley Cup Final pits an underdog against a powerhouse. It seems like a perfect narrative, so let’s see how this story plays out. Let’s just hope the Penguins end with a happy ending.
