The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Nashville Predators head to Pittsburgh for game five of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday.

With the series tied at two apiece, the Pittsburgh Penguins will be looking to show dominance and take a 3-2 lead in the series. The winner of this game will be just one win away from the Stanley Cup. We do not want to be the one down two games.

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Penguins have home ice, which has proven to play a bigger role than expected in these Finals. The Penguins won the first two games at home, while the Predators won the next too in Nashville. As we all have seen, fans of both teams can get rather rambunctious.

The Penguins will need a key game from all of their top players. Expect a big game from captain Sidney Crosby and leading goal scorer Jake Guentzel. Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel seemed to be having some chemistry issues, but expect them to try and have a bigger game than usual as well. These are our key players, and they need to be more consistent than they’ve been in games three and four.
