Former Pens Coach Eddie Olczyk Diagnosed With Cancer
Eddie Olczyk, former Penguins and Pens coach, has recently announced his recent diagnosis of colon cancer. Olczyk announced his diagnosis, recent surgery and current treatment status through a statement with the Chicago Blackhawks. The hockey community is rallyinf behind Olczyk with immeasurable support. The Stanley Cup Visits Charlottetown and the Special Olympics P.E.I.
Andy O’Brien, the director of sports science and performance for the Pittsburgh Penguins, to Charlottetown. O’Briend wanted to bring the Cup to visit at least one charity and coordinated with his cousin to arrange a visit to the Special Olympics P.E.I.
