Fandom 250 is a yearly collection of the biggest and best fandoms in the world. Not surprisingly, the Pittsburgh Penguins are one of eight NHL teams to qualify.
Fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins have had a lot to celebrate the last few years. And now it’s time to celebrate that very fanbase.
Fandom 250 is ranking anything that has a fanbase. Sport teams, celebrities, tv shows, games – we mean anything. The Pens were one of eight NHL teams whose fan following was deemed good enough to make the cut, but this is only the beginning.
This is where the fans come in.
First off, make sure you visit the official Fandom 250 post here and vote for the Pens.
Then, take to Twitter and Facebook! Tweet or tag @FanSided and use the hashtag #Fandom250 with videos, photos, anything that proves that the Penguins have the best fan base in the NHL.
The consecutive sellouts, Stanley Cup victory parades, and this guy are just a few of the reasons why Pittsburgh has the best fandom in hockey.
On December 12th, the results will be announced. Fans have until then to support their fandom.
The other nominated teams are as follows:
- Chicago Blackhawks
- Detroit Red Wings
- Edmonton Oilers
- Montreal Canadiens
- Nashville Predators
- New York Rangers
- Toronto Maple Leafs
Fandom 250 represents a chance for fans to speak up and express why their team and city is the best. But don’t just talk about it, Tweet about it.
Don’t forget to get on social media and spread the word, and make sure you share this link with every Pens fan you know!
