It's always a big deal when a professional athlete has a child. The offspring of these athletic freaks are always worth keeping track of in the coming decades.
But three kids in the span of two days for three players on the same team? Three boys, no less? This is an anomaly.

Pittsburgh faithful will love this one. I can remember when Pittsburgh legend Andrew McCutchen announced the birth of his first boy, Steel McCutchen. Rickard Rakell is following the trend.
Ziggy Steel is Rickard and Emmeli's second child and first boy.
Now, you don't just give your son a niche middle name for nothing. This action is giving me a lot of "Penguin for life" vibes, which I am completely in favor of.
Kyle Dubas decided to keep Rakell at the most recent trade deadline, and it seems as though Tricky Ricky has a defined role in the future of this team. After a career season with 35 goals and 35 assists, Rakell now has an added dose of Dad Strength.
Bennett Jarry
Happy birthday to new dad, Jars!

Welcome to the world, Bennett 💛 pic.twitter.com/TzcMTu2SKc
Not only did Tristan Jarry celebrate his 30th birthday yesterday, but he also welcomed his first child, a boy he and his wife Hannah are naming Bennett.
The new mother, Hannah Hatcher [Jarry], is the son of Kevin Hatcher, who had a 17-year NHL career including three seasons with the Penguins from 1996-1999.
Bennett has hockey in his genes, so we'll have to keep an eye on his inevitable career. The only question is if he'll be a defenseman like his grandfather or a goalie like his dad. Maybe he'll be a forward and be a goal scorer. Both his dad and grandpa have that in their blood too.
With Jarry ending the 2024-25 season on a high note, expect his newfound Dad Strength to carry that over into next season. The Penguins need to be careful about trading him. He's due to ball out in his first season as a dad.
Miro Kolyachonok
First hockey lesson in the books for baby Miro 🏒

Congratulations to the Kolyachonok family! pic.twitter.com/rh6zBBSSsm
It didn't take long for Vladislav Kolyachonok and his wife Mary to get their first child on the ice. Baby Miro joins Bennett Jarry as the second firstborn and third boy being born to a Penguins player this week.
Kolyachonok is just 23 years old, but he already has a buddy to practice with. One of my favorite parts of this is in Slavic languages, Miro means "glory" or "fame". Kolyachonok is still but a child at the NHL level, but he has acquired the coveted Dad Strength already, which bodes well for next season.
Welcome to the world, Baby Penguins!
