Zane is FanSided's Pens' Labyrinth site co-expert. In 2021, Zane was a college intern with the Wilmington Sharks baseball club as an analytics and stats keeper. With the Sharks he seized the opportunity to start broadcasting for the team, which led to two seasons as the team's analyst and then becoming a public address announcer for over seven sports within Liberty Flames Athletics at Liberty University. He began his professional career in the sports industry in 2024 as the play-by-play broadcaster and primary writer for the Lake Erie Crushers baseball club.
